Who Am I?

Am I just a lonely "I" beheaded on island of egos?
Is my mirror image true to reality?
"Who am I?" is the quest for identity.

A crystal of dew,
A salty drop of tear,
Float of a waxy leafed Lotus,
Mirage of the Desert,
Victim of effort & labour,
Devastation of floods,
Life for a survivor,
Who am I? (water)

Am I basically a debtor , creditor or giver?
Is pride in me a maker or a breaker?
"Who am I?" is a sloppy old wandering trekker.

The pollutant in deoxygenation,
The swinging minutes in pacemaker,
The flutter in lashes & leaves,
The flight of the eagles,
The wind before the storm,
The brisk fragrance of breeze-shy petals,
The virgin magma in the sand dune,
Who am i? (air)

Am i the aesthetics of movement of time?
Is the time not truely the essence of change in me?
"Who am I ?" is a search of keeping changes grounded in me.

The turbulent volcano,
The heat in midst of a volatile argument,
The woolen warmth in winters,
The smoke out of the last remains of mankind,
The dearth of scorching furnaces,
The anguish in claustrophobic hearts,
Who am I? (fire)

Am i worth the hatred of partitioning diplomacy?
Is the pain of endothermic outburst an expression of self indulgence?
"Who am I?" is the bitter fruit of seeds once sown.

The green mother of selfless fruitfulness,
The violent quaking tremor,
The shrinking replica of discomfort,
The absorbing shelter to the sins of mankind,
The gravity of thought,The bund midst of the oceans & seas,
The pot to store & serve,
Who am I? ( earth)

Am I sustainable to reforms in the speedy world?
Is the change a significance of invalidation of my identity?
"Who am I?" a trigger back to square one in this crisis of validity.
