the crowning glory of the month...

the abhi-ash wedding bells seem to beget louder echoes from the media than anything else.
suddenly, all the 'nakshatra" ads potray ash as a wedded demure damsel with artificial ' sindoor' ingredient and abhi 's platinum cards pour offers to customers.

why the fuss? is marriage a cash back scheme or a business deal? i fail to understand that if weddings like these are high profile commerce sessions then why did my mother always tell me that they are made in heaven? should they not be strategized in a board meeting across the table in a stock exchange?

dalal street, wall street chambers would atleast get an alternative or rather a supplimentary source of income.hey, mr.mehta if you are in the hell ringing the bell for re-incarnation then please assure yourself of an alternative source of income (white money deal).

anyway, but i shall noways acknowledge such a private affair as the crowning glory even for a day so would not give it much of a cloud in the blog.

according to me the crown of the month should go to my dear "adnan sami".
yes, yes and more yes....adnan sami it is! he was the guy who would carry even his 200 kg+ weight with such a charm that every time i saw him playing his piano at an awards night, would go completely flat over his talent.

kabhi to nazar milao was his launching album (about 7 years ago) and though it had salil ankola (my favourite then) and dr.govitrikar, i still managed to get a crack on my heart when i saw the cute little adnan singing " dil yeh chahe gehri jhulfe chumlu, sochta hun aur tumse kya kahun.." but, this cutey did drop my expectations when he did a series of videos with "out of the stand actresses" (like DM, arti chabaria, namrata shirodkar, and the rest who were jobless and took to marriage after the album).

however, he is back and how! he has loss a 100 kgs and looks charmimg as ever (his weight never was a problem being popular amongst girls though) yet he steals the show with his new solo "kisi din".
he is mesmerizing and he deserves an applaude for his weight loss and the melodious album.

so, this is precisely a hint to all those who intend to shed their weight that nothing is difficult albeit one does it in as systematized manner and does not go overboard with so called " diets".

and the second crowning glory goes to a friend of mine who calls himself adnan sami (dont know why?) presuming that he is very fat! well, he is not a celebrity ;but in a way he is in his own right for being the intelligent and modest individual that he is. he has been working really hard on things and amazingly he too has lost a lot weight (he is denying that, but its the matter of fact).

at times i question myself how do these software professionals get so much of stress fighting resistance from? and i snap with an answer that its only a few like my dear friend who conquer the stress and dont succumb to pressures. the rest obviously fall prey to what they call as RSI (repetitive stress injury) and something else that i interpretate it as ignorance syndrome that simply arises due to lack of any social or soothing activities.
he manages to gather time for good things like calling interesting people who are at a distance of 500+kms from his destination.(i m sure he is going to kill me for this, but i m ready to get killed talking the truth)

so be the 2 adnan samis i know who deserve the attention in their own right rather than the " indian team members of the wrecked team" for loosing against bangladesh or the gun men of amar singh beating up the media or sanjay dutt's trial in a blue shirt!

apart from weight loss, one more similarity persists between the two of them which is love for playing the harmonium oriented instruments viz; casio and piano!
