i was always a thinker, but i still cannot categeorize myself as a social, or intellectual thinker. may be i am a bit of both or perhaps nither of the two mentioned classifications.
but thats not my concern, my sole concern is whether what i think is what i can practice or not.
i have been touring over the past whole month into the major and minor cities in India.one thought that kept flashing my mind inspite of work pressures was "acceptibility".
nature is such a splendid laboratory of acceptance and adaptability, then why do we being a part of the environmenatal cycle fail to accept and adapt to changes, variations or modernisation?
we watch movies like Provoked, empathise with kiranjet ahluwalia and forget about it the very moment we move out of the theatres.imagine kiran had faced problems for such a long time and e forgot about them in less than 2 hours!
i hope that i m not the sole one thinking so deeply over this!!
i have seen people saying 'oh, her or his would be in-laws were too demanding, to interfering",but when stress and strain exceed the resistance limits, a shear failure is predictable certainity.
the same people would react differently and strangely when a girl or a boy in question decides to break it
of f before the wedding.
these would be the people who just might turn around and say that the subject was too rigid and did not show tolerance!on the other hand there could be people who would show fake sympathy for them and publically mock them.
do people really think such girls and boys who rebell need sympathy or have to lead an abnormal life?
i do not feel this way though if thats what many are determined to ponder.
somehow, the society equates happiness with marriage , particularly for female population, but thats something that sounds more like the only solution or rather the conclusion for everything.
agreed, marriages are a great institution but one has to graduate someday to face the world;which is beyond the boundaries of any institutional preachings.
there is always other side of the world allien to the americans at night, which could also open ones eyes to reality!
so, take the clue...think!
